A cubby is a trailer with a sleeping compartment and a kitchen. Towed behind almost anyting, like a 2002 Windstar... anyway it is in the shape of a teardrop. It was not completed but it was complete enough to do a 2 and 1/2 week tryout. Tarps are required. I think, whether you use aluminum skin or not. We used deck paint. and aluminum tape ( check your ducts on your forced air furnace, that shiny tape, we used 450 yards to "trim" our trailer. Also I did not keep detailed notes another "NOT TO DO" so 0 for 2 - wait , it gets better. The sleeping cabin was built for two and slept three (our dog Tikka) slept on a shelf untill the wee hours of the morning and she needed to pee or cuddle - she would jump down, what are the chances of not landing on a person when two persons are sleeping on a 45 inch surface..... sigh. There were some construction "issues" and tarp "issues" and some weather "issues:" but all in all we had a great time but won't take two and a half weeks. But the camping trailer- the cubby, our droplet will be completed and we will go camping agian next year ....now if we can just upgrade on the mini-van........
